Irregular Verbs
Dear
students, as you know, in 1st E.S.O we are studying the list of
irregular verbs. I know this is a hard task, so in order to help you I have
found this webpage where you can learn the irregular verbs and their
pronunciation easily. You just have to listen and repeat the verbs in a
rhythmic way. I know that you are also interested in improving the
pronunciation of –ed verb endings. Here you will find a video explaining how to
pronounce them properly. I hope it is useful for you. Good luck!

Good-bye canivals, welcome Lent
We have just celebrated carnivals. I´m sure that despite the rain, you all enjoyed this little rest before the exams.
Besides this, Lent has just began, a time to think, forgive and ask for forgiveness.
But, ours is not the only carnival which has been celebrated....
Mardi Gras in New Orleans: Every year there is a carnival season in New Orleans, in the USA. It starts on 6th January. There are parades in the streets and a lot of parties. People eat King cakes, which are purple, green and gold. They have a small plastic baby in the cake that represents Jesus.
Mardi Gras is always on the last Tuesday before Lent.
It means " Fat Tuesday" in French because people celebrate and eat all day!!!!
In August, in London, they celebrate the Notting Hill Carnival. It is a street party. People wear fantastic costumes and walk through the streets. Thousands of people watch teh processions and theris really loud music. It has a real party atmosphere!!!!!!
