Irregular Verbs

Dear students, as you know, in 1st E.S.O we are studying the list of irregular verbs. I know this is a hard task, so in order to help you I have found this webpage where you can learn the irregular verbs and their pronunciation easily. You just have to listen and repeat the verbs in a rhythmic way. I know that you are also interested in improving the pronunciation of –ed verb endings. Here you will find a video explaining how to pronounce them properly. I hope it is useful for you. Good luck!

Good-bye canivals, welcome Lent
We have just celebrated carnivals. I´m sure that despite the rain, you all enjoyed this little rest before the exams.
Besides this, Lent has just began, a time to think, forgive and ask for forgiveness.

But, ours is not the only carnival which has been celebrated....

Mardi Gras in New Orleans:  Every year there is a carnival season in New Orleans, in the USA. It starts on 6th January. There are parades in the streets and a lot of parties. People eat King cakes, which are purple, green and gold. They have a small plastic baby in the cake that represents Jesus.
Mardi Gras is always on the last Tuesday before Lent.
It means " Fat Tuesday" in French because people celebrate and eat all day!!!!

In August, in London, they celebrate the Notting Hill Carnival. It is a street party. People wear fantastic costumes and walk through the streets. Thousands of people watch teh processions and theris really loud music. It has a real party atmosphere!!!!!!

ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE

It’s only a few days for St Valentine’s day. This is the day we celebrate love, we exchange cards or gifts and we tell the people around us how much do we care for them. But, where does this tradition come from? Who was Saint Valentine?  Find it out watching this video.

All You Need Is Love is a song written by John Lennon and performed by the Beatles. The purpose of this song was to send the world a message of love. I hope you enjoy it!
Finally, if you like handmade gifts here you have some crafts that you can make for the ones you love. HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!!

Sorry!!!!!!

Hi again.
First, I would like to say sorry. Why? Because I have left this blog aside for a while, but...
here we go again.

After the first term, Christmas, our families, the marks, the presents, the carolls, great meals and more, carnivals are around the corner, the second term is almost in the middle and I hope your English is going fine.

So, don´t let this bad weather make you feel sad or gloomy.  Study, have fun and enjoy the rain and the snow, too.
